This application is intended for Victims and Volunteers of Oklahoma Tornado that happened on May 20, 2013.

The 2013 Oklahoma tornado occurred on the afternoon of May 20, 2013. The EF5 tornado with winds estimated at 210 miles per hour (340 km/h) impacted Moore, Oklahoma, Newcastle and adjacent areas in Oklahoma, US. The tornado was part of a larger weather system that had produced several other tornadoes over the previous two days. The tornado touched down at 2:45 p.m. CDT (19:45 UTC) west of Newcastle, staying on the ground for approximately 50 minutes over a 17-mile (27 km) path, crossing through a heavily populated section of Moore. The tornado was 1.3 miles (2.1 km) wide at its peak.

For victims, there are a wide range of shelters listed both for human beings and animals. Emergency numbers and links to food banks are also listed. In this app, you will find a host of features to heal your wounds. If you are displaced and looking for a shelter, a lot of shelter houses are located, addressed, tagged, mapped and are pointed from your current location. Food Banks around Moore, Newcastle and Oklahoma are also displayed visually and distance from your current location is also calculated and drawn. Whether you want to report an missing person or little pet to the relevant authorities, all you need to do is press a button (the numbers are already fed). Transportation, Water, Electricity, Police, City authorities are all a click away. Even FEMA is a click away.

All you need is to download this app and get yourself up and running in the shortest possible time. The app is free. The app is AD free. No hidden code or motives - As expected from a Canadian.

For volunteers, there are innumerable ways to help and there is a fair listing of how, what, where and to whom you can donate are listed. Links to social networking sites of a select few organizations including the official government sites are listed to quickly access news and updates on the go.

If you are a volunteer and wish to participate or donate, there are a host of charitable and helpful organizations including Red Cross, Donors Choose, The Salvation Army, AmeriCares, Operation USA, Oklahoma Medical Reserve Corps, United Way of Central Oklahoma, etc.

While we human beings can support each other, there are these little pets who need us now more than ever. If you find a pet or have lost one, there are a lot of animal shelters you can contact to find or take care of your loved little ones. Animal Shelters such as City Animal Shelter, Anne's Country Club for Pets, Animal Medical Center, the Benchmark Animal Hospital, etc, are all tagged, mapped and are all a click away.

Often you need to connect to the correct authorities through their official sites but the social networks are rife with false identities. We have carefully selected the real handles of the authorities and tagged them so that you can easily connect to your authorities OFFICIAL and correct handles. For the latest updates on which exit is closed, which are open for first responders, where are the volunteers required, simply connect to the REAL handles. No more getting lost for HELP or to HELP.

In case you wish to add something that we missed and you think that can help those in need, please send us feedback.
